Good RZR Skid Plate

I got the RZR Skid Plate a few weeks ago. Ordering was easy on their site. It took 5 days to reach Denver, which was fine. Installation was straightforward with the included hardware. It feels really solid, I'm glad I went with the thicker one.

yeah returns were easy, did it last month for an A-arm guard that was the wrong model. just make sure it's unused.

how does factory utv's UHMW compare to like, SuperATV's stuff? is it generally considered better quality?

Factory UTV's UHMW is usually thicker and more robust in my experience. SuperATV is okay for casual use, but Factory UTV is built for harder abuse.

thinking about getting the 1/2 inch skid plate, but is it really that much better than the 3/8? for trail riding, not hardcore rock crawling.

For trail riding, 3/8 is probably fine, honestly. 1/2 is definitely tougher, but also heavier and costs more. Unless you're hitting big rocks regularly, might be overkill.

I run 1/2 on my X3 and it's taken some serious abuse. If you can swing it, it's good peace of mind, but 3/8 is solid too.
